In dry Alentejo, Spring 2018 was abnormally rainy. Paintings were made under the pouring rain. Local colours washed away in little streams and soaked in the sandy soil, leaving delicate remains on the fabric.

A set of Chinese ink paintings on linen was displayed in the garden.

que chegaram ao meu jardim
as palmeiras.
The desert also
Comes from the sea. I do not know on which ship,
But from there they came
Landed in my garden
