The art installation « Cocon » was shown during the European Heritage Days 2020, in Fort Saint Laurent, a 1830’s building overlooking river Rhône in Lyon.
Opened just after the first lockdown in France, the event took on a meaning of liberation.
In an ambient fragrance of cinnamon, a dozen of paintings on natural fabrics and mere fabric panels were intrically displayed and moved by wind from a fan. The whole art piece gave the tactile feeling of entering a cloud in the sky.
The entire work was inspired by the natural setting around and the family story of the artist, rooted in this hill and river.
